Technical Features of ExteNet Systems' E-911 Phase II solution and battery backup system.
Enhanced-911 Phase II
- Our system can simulcast nodes & shape sectors to match capacity to demand
- For CDMA, the solution eliminates need for DAS network run at a limited number (1-2) of nodes per sector to maintain Phase II compliance
- For GSM and UMTS, significantly reduces the number of Location Master Units (LMUs) required to maintain Phase II compliance
- DAS network LMUs are maintained and operated just like a typical macro site. Solution is transparent to location service methodology/provider
- Contributes to E-911 Phase II Federal Communications Commission compliance
- Can be implemented on existing DAS networks
Battery Backup
- Weather-protected housing with IP44 (NEMA-3R) rating
- Constructed with extreme wide temperature batteries
- Provides improved robustness in extreme environments
- Provides over and under voltage protection
- Provides up to eight hours of backup for a fully configured DeltaNode with +39dBm amplifiers
